The basic works of surveying consists of distance measurement, angular surveying and height measurement.
   The basic purpose of surveying is to locate the spatial location of one ground point. This spatial location is normally marked in horizontal coordinate and altitude. And these are measured and calculated by the distance, angle and height difference between the given point and point to be determined. Therefore, distance, angle and altitude are the basic positioning elements of determining the ground point.
